Our Story: Rooted in the New Forest

For over 40 years, Hockey's Farm has been a family affair, deeply connected to the heart of the New Forest. In November 2013, a new chapter began when Laura, Jonny, and their parents, Anne & Robin, took the reins. Since then, the farm has blossomed, growing into the vibrant place it is today.

Sustainabilty

More than just a farm and butchery, we're proud to be recognized as a 'Sustainability Champion' by the New Forest National Park. Being green is at our core, and we're dedicated to protecting the beautiful environment that surrounds us.

The farm has invested in solar panels which generate roughly half of the farms total energy consumption.

As well as putting in a 60,000 litre rainwater harvesting system coupled with a new water treatment plant. Not forgetting the extensive hedge planting on the farm.

Supporting Local

We believe in supporting our community. Hockey's Farm is a hub for both locals and tourists, a place where the best of the New Forest comes together. We're passionate about working with other local farmers and producers, showcasing the incredible quality of our region. Our pork, for example, proudly carries the New Forest Marque and Hampshire Fare status.

The Local Farmers

Some of the local farms that supply to Hockey’s Farm include: Folds Farm in Godshill supplying our longhorn beef & dexter beef. Manor Farm in Cadnam supplying Devon red beef, British lop pork & badger faced hogget. Local farmer Paul Tanner supplies our turkeys. Other meats are sourced usually from Hampshire or neighbouring farmers and counties.

The Farm Shop

Step into our Farm Shop, and you'll discover a treasure trove of local produce alongside everyday essentials and premium treats. Local cheeses, organic milk, tomatoes, cakes and bread can be bought as can Italian pasta, local gins and a well-chosen selection of wines to name but a few of the delicious range on sale.

The Farmyard Cafe

The Farmyard Café, open daily, serves traditional breakfasts, Lavazza coffee, light lunches and locally made cakes and scones. The café is licenced to sell alcohol to accompany your meal.

The Farm also offers tranquil seating areas, a wander around the animals and most importantly a relaxed atmosphere set within the beautiful New Forest National Park.
